Madhuri and Ghanshyam are residents of village Ratnagiri and had history of mother being RH Negative(AB negative) blood gp and father being Rh positive(B positive).Having history of previous 1 Female healthy child of 11 yrs and had lost previous twins babies at 28 weeks due to undiagnosed RH iso-immunisation. This time came to us in pune so far from village with lot of hope for safe ANC journey at 27 weeks . We did all RH negative pregnancy work up and found that mother is ICT positive and baby was showing sings of Isoimmunisation.Baby was having pericardial effusion and ascites with raised MCA values (Doppler changes) so with the help of Renouned foetal medicine experts Dr.Amit and Dr.Sarika Magdum ,we took decision-to give intrauterine foetal transfusion blood to pull on intrauterine days till at least 34 weeks if possible so The NICU stay after delivery can reduced and so Expences .Mother received 2 intrauterine foetal transfusion at a gap of 15 days and did continuous foetal monitoring with usg every week and at 34 weeks +2 days pregnancy terminated due to Doppler changes and raised MCA values by emergency LSCS at cloudnine hospital Kalyaninagar pune .Baby was handled by excellent paediatric team (Dr.Sandeep Bandewar and team)in cloudnine hospital with at most care and precautions .Baby was absolutely fine at birth ,had raised bilirubin at day 1 so given phototherapy and discharged from NICU on day 3.Couple went back to their home town with healthy baby and satisfactory smile on face .We The Gynaecologist Dr.Sunil and Dr.Chandrakala are great full to all teams efforts and happy and proud to handle such difficult case.
